How to import a dictionary into Yomitan

Yomitan is a free browser extension for Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Hover over a word on any web page, a news article, a blog post or a subtitle, and its meaning pops up.

1. Install Yomitan from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons.
2. Open the Yomitan settings and go to Dictionaries → Configure installed and enabled dictionaries.
3. Click Import and choose the ZIP file you downloaded. Don’t unpack it. Yomitan reads the ZIP directly.
4. In the settings, set the language to the language you are learning.
5. On any web page, hold Shift and move the mouse over a word.
